未来社会像の実現にあたってはSDGsの達成が強く意識され、国が進める科学技術・イノベーション基本計画等だけではなく、産業界でもSDGs達成に向けた取組が精力的に推進されています。建築分野においても、建築BIMや3次元都市モデルの利活用、建築・都市のDXの進展とともに、様々な建築情報技術が重要な役割を果たし、SDGsの達成に貢献することが期待されます。本PDでは、建築分野におけるSDGsの達成と、それに寄与する建築情報技術の役割や可能性について議論します。

蟹江憲史「建築×SDG：変革へ向けたユーザーからの視点」
[概要] SDGs達成へ向けて衣食住の役割は大きく、建築ができることは数多くある。建築とSDGsというと、環境面に視点が寄りそうだが、建築プロセスにおける労働力や人権デューデリジェンス、女性活躍などの社会面、スケールアップによる経済性向上や投資などの経済面など、社会、経済の持続可能性に特に課題は多くあるように思われる。2018年から2020年にかけて実施した「SDGsハウス」プロジェクトの施主としての経験をもとに、建築がSDG達成へ向けて何ができるのかを考えたい。
[略歴] 日本政府SDGs推進本部円卓会議構成員など、国内・海外でSDGsを中心に多方面で活躍中。国連が4年に一度出版するGlobal Sustainable Development Report 2023執筆の15人の独立科学者の一人に国連事務総長から選出されている。専門はサステナビリティ学、地球システム・ガバナンス。2020年に「SDGsハウス」を建築し、現在も家族と居住中。
清家剛「建築情報技術のSDGsへの貢献－変わる建築生産から考える－」
[概要] 建築情報技術は現在めまぐるしい発展を遂げており、様々な場面で社会実装に向けての取り組みが行われている。一方SDGsの登場により、こうした技術がどのような位置づけになるのか、あらためて見つめ直してみるべき時期である。そこで建築情報技術によって今後変わるであろう建築生産の観点から、SDGsへの貢献を考えたときに何を考慮しなければならないのか問題提起し、皆様と考えてみたい。
[略歴] 1987年東京大学工学部建築学科卒、1999年より東京大学大学院新領域創成科学研究科助教授、2019年より現職。専門は建築構法計画、建築生産。国土交通省建築BIM推進会議、建築学会建築SDGs宣言推進特別調査委員会等の委員。
Keynote Session 2: Building Information Technology and the SDGs
In order to realize the vision of the future society, there is a strong awareness of the SDGs, and not only the national government’s Science, Technology and Innovation Basic Plan, but also the industrial sector is vigorously promoting initiatives to achieve the SDGs. In the field of architecture, various building information technologies are expected to play an important role and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs, along with the utilization of building information modeling (BIM) and 3D urban models, and the development of digital transformation (DX) for buildings and cities. In this panel discussion session, we will discuss the achievement of the SDGs in the field of architecture and the roles and potential of building information technology to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
