基調講演DAY1（12/10 15:00-17:30）では、ドイツ、ニュージーランド、シンガポールから建築とコンピュータに関する研究者・実務者を招き、パンデミック後のライフデザインについて、建築とコンピュータの果たす役割を中心にライブで議論します（同時通訳付）。

• ドイツ建築博物館ディレクター、ピーター・カチョーラ・シュマル氏「コロナウイルスの流行は私たちのキウィタス［社会組織としての都市］を危険にさらしている」
• ビクトリア大学ウェリントン校（ニュージーランド）教授、マーク・アウレル・シュナベル氏「没入型ソーシャル・バーチャル・リアリティ：パンデミック後の建築における意味の構築」
• シンガポール国立大学准教授、ルディ・スタフス氏「新しいものはないのか？パンデミック前と後の生活のための建築研究」

基調講演DAY2（12/11 15:00-17:30）では、2019年度に設置された国土交通省・建築BIM推進会議の取り組みと、部会の活動、モデルケースでの実証等についてご紹介いただき、建築BIMの動向と将来像について議論します。

研究・技術発表：今年は103編の発表となります。お陰様で、第1回・1978年以来、過去2番目の多さとなりました。以下のセッション、並びに、情報システム技術委員会傘下の小委員会主催によるオーガナイズドセッションが開催されます。BIM、VR･MR･AR、AI･機械学習、GIS･都市計画、環境工学、建築計画、最適化、自然言語処理、デジタルファブリケーション･生産･センシング、パラメトリックデザイン
　論文部門・報告部門・インタラクティブ発表部門別、そして、筆頭著者の所属別に、ビジュアル化してみました（ https://aijisa.org/2020/papers/ ）。今年は、論文部門、報告部門とも、大幅増、特に、筆頭著者の所属別では、学生さんの投稿が大幅に増えています。若手優秀発表賞を目指してプレゼン頑張ってください！論文で使用された言語としては、日本語が96編、英語が7編となりました。

We will use Zoom meeting as our online platform, and Remo for the interactive presentations and social gathering, which will provide an opportunity for participants to interact with one another. Keynote Day 1 (15:00-17:30, Dec 10 JST) invites researchers and practitioners of architecture and computing from Germany, New Zealand, and Singapore to discuss post-pandemic life design, with a focus on the role of architecture and computers (with simultaneous translation between English and Japanese).

• Prof. Dr. Mark Aurel Schnabel, Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand): Immersive Social Virtual Realities: The Construction of Meaning in Post-pandemic Architecture
• Dr. Rudi Stouffs, Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore: Nothing new? Architectural research for life (before and) after the pandemic

In the Keynote Day 2 (15:00-17:30, Dec 11 JST), the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s Building BIM Promotion Council, established in 2019, will introduce the activities of the Council, as well as the activities of the subcommittee and model case demonstrations, and discuss the trends and future vision of building BIM.

• Prof. Kazuya Shide, Shibaura Institute of Technology: “Information and classification” of BIM objects
• Junichi Yamashita, C.E.O. of CI Lab Co., Ltd., and Chairman of buildingSMART Japan: BIM and Open Standard
• Coordinators: Prof. Shun Watanabe (University of Tsukuba), Prof. Narito Kurata (Tsukuba University of Technology)

Research and technical presentations: This year, 103 papers which include full and short papers and interactive presentations are presented. This is the second largest number of presentations ever since the memorial first AIJISA in 1978. The following sessions, as well as organized sessions sponsored by subcommittees under the Information Systems Technology Committee of AIJ, will be held: BIM, VR/MR/AR, AI/machine learning, GIS/urban planning, environmental engineering, architectural planning, optimization, natural language processing, digital fabrication/production/sensing, and Parametric Design.
　Here‘s a visualization of the number of submissions by full and short papers and interactive presentation categories, as well as by first author’s affiliation (https://aijisa.org/2020/papers/). This year, both the full and short papers categories have increased significantly. In particular, we have seen a significant increase in the number of student submissions by the first author’s affiliation. Good luck with your presentation for the AIJISA Young Presentation Award! In terms of languages used in the papers, 96 papers were in Japanese and 7 in English.
