A. Face-to-face participants: Notes on infectious disease control

  1. If you have been to a country or region where the infection is still spreading within the past two weeks, please refrain from visiting.
  2. If you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms, please give top priority to your physical condition and refrain from coming.
  3. Please wear a mask on the day of the event.
  4. Hand sanitizer and a thermometer will be available at the venue. Please cooperate in disinfecting your hands with alcohol and taking your temperature.
  5. No food is allowed in the venue.
  6. Please keep an appropriate distance between people when lining up and entering/exiting the venue.
  7. Please note that in the unlikely event that a participant is confirmed to be infected, and the health authorities determine that another participant is a close contact, we may provide the participant’s contact information. In addition, all participants will be contacted by e-mail.

B. Face-to-face participants: Access

  1. Please enter the Suzaku Campus from the main entrance on the Senbon Street side.
    1. If you are coming from Nijo Station, access from Senbon Street (main street), not along the elevated tracks.
    2. Do not enter from the Sanjo Street side.
    3. The Co-op inside the building is closed to the public. Please purchase water, etc. off campus. The same applies to meals.
  2. Dec. 9, 8:45am-: Please come to the reception desk (in front of the hall on the 4th floor).
    1. Please complete the registration at the earliest possible time. Please submit the printed participation ticket at the registration desk (see above. Processed).
    2. Please use the EV to get to the 4th floor. It is on the right as you enter the main entrance.
    3. You will receive a participation card necessary to enter the campus.
    4. We create a list of visitors as prescribed by infection control.
    5. You will be given information on the wireless LAN access available at the venue (individual ID and password, not common, so you won’t be able to find it by asking others).
    6. We will also provide you with other necessary information.
    7. Please be sure to complete the registration process even if you do not have enough time before the start of the opening session.
  3. Please wear your participation card around your neck while on campus.
    1. This is necessary to control the capacity as defined by infection control.
    2. Security at the university headquarters may ask you for help.
  4. The venue is as follows:
    1. Venue 1: Front of the Hall
      1. The entrance is on the 4th floor (the 5th floor entrance is closed). Please use the elevator on the right side of the entrance of the building.
    2. Venue 2: Multipurpose Room 1 (by the reception desk on the first floor)
    3. Venue 3: Multipurpose Room 2 (by the reception desk on the first floor)
    4. Venue 4: Fully online
    5. Local online participation area: Back of the hall
      1. If the number of participants exceeds the capacity of each room, please move to this area. You will need your own device and earphones, and a microphone if you wish to speak. Use of the speaker and microphone on the device itself is prohibited. Please make sure to turn them off, as this will greatly hinder the operation of the entire hall.
    6. Interactive presentation/sponsored exhibition: 4th floor foyer in front of the hall
      1. The first lightning talk will be held in the hall, so please gather at the 4th floor hall first.
